This role is vital as the "boots on the ground" representative and is the main face that customers or "Insomniacs" see outside of the bakery. The delivery driver's primary responsibility is to deliver the delicious cookie products to customers quickly, safely, and with exceptional service, truly embodying the essence of Insomnia Cookies' mission to bring cookie magic directly to fans. The position offers guaranteed hourly compensation starting at $11.00, with potential earnings up to $15.50 per hour, along with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week. The Car Delivery Driver will be responsible for checking orders for quality and accuracy before leaving the store, delivering cookies, milk, and ice cream efficiently and safely, and providing positive and professional customer service through direct interaction and phone communication. Drivers will utilize the company’s delivery app adhering to approved standards to give accurate status updates to customers. To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, have familiarity with the local 2-mile delivery radius (a preferred advantage), and meet all vehicle and legal requirements including possessing a valid driver's license, car registration, insurance, and passing a motor vehicle background check. Candidates must also have a smartphone with a data plan and be legally eligible to work in the United States; all drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
