Job Requirements

Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
Ability to push vehicles into position
Use a wheel dolly system
Work in upright standing and seated positions for long periods
Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
Ability to walk and climb stairs
Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
Ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to communicate by spoken and written word
Ability to quickly navigate the property and building
Ability to repeat various wrist, hand and finger motions
Ability to detect auditory and visual emergency alarms
Complete all required forms and work orders
Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends
Driving when necessary
Ability to respond to emergencies promptly
Experience using hand tools with training
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 8 ft
Compliance with safety procedures and wearing correct PPE
Flexibility to perform lifting, moving heavy items and following safety procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Minimum of two years of valet or automotive technician experience
Broad understanding of vehicle operation and electronic equipment
Mechanical aptitude
Experience as an automobile mechanic, HVAC technician, electrician or similar skilled trades valuable
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office software
Proficient in operating vehicles with manual and paddle shift transmissions
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
English and Spanish communication skills recommended

Job Duties

Monitors all activity of the car elevator systems through security cameras and software
Efficiently manages the car elevator system software
Maintains a log of all vehicles stored in all locations including garage, unit garages, car galleries and both penthouses
Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work
Maintains working relationships with building staff
Communicates with residents and the car concierge team when moving vehicles
Completes daily work orders as scheduled by the Chief Car Concierge Manager
Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
