Job Requirements
- Must represent Vines mission, vision and values
- at least 21 years of age
- a minimum of 4-years experience in a full-service restaurant
- experience in an upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

- knowledge of and passion for wine, spirits and beer

- outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
- must demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience
- a minimum of 4-years experience in a full-service restaurant required
- experience in an upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred
- captain/fine dining server with experience in team service front and back server
- demonstrated ability to guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of our food, beverages and ingredients
- ability to take accurate orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations
- ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food
- takes customer orders by writing them down or memorizing them
- presents orders to the cooks on behalf of the patrons
- serves customers their pre-ordered food
- observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
- totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier
- clears or resets table at the end of each course
- thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining
- the company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
