Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Six months or more bartending experience
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Ability to maintain professionalism and excellent attendance
Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
Ability to handle cash accurately
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to work well independently and in a team

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
Contact management or security if guest becomes confrontational or belligerent
Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make decision beyond scope of standard decision-making
Request additional product or restock product as required
Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
Maintain clean and sanitary work station at all times
Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
Other duties as assigned
