Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Ability to maintain professionalism and excellent attendance
- Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Contact management or security if guest becomes confrontational or belligerent
- Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make decision beyond scope of standard decision-making
- Request additional product or restock product as required
- Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station at all times
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
- Other duties as assigned
