Job Description

Rio Las Vegas is a vibrant resort and casino destination located in the heart of Las Vegas, known for offering guests an exceptional blend of entertainment, gaming, dining, and hospitality experiences. As a well-established hotel and casino complex, it serves thousands of visitors daily, delivering world-class services across various departments including food and beverage. The resort prides itself on its inclusion, diversity, and commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for all employees and guests. With a range of dining venues including a dynamic food hall, Rio Las Vegas emphasizes quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction as key pillars of its operational philosophy.

The role of a Food Hall Busperson at Rio Las Vegas is integral to the seamless functioning of the food hall and overall guest satisfaction. This position is designed for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering impeccable service in a fast-paced environment. The Food Hall Busperson is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and welcoming space to dine. Duties include clearing and resetting tables, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, assisting servers and attendants, handling dirty dishes, restocking supplies, and emptying trash bins. Given the physically demanding nature of the position, candidates must be comfortable lifting and carrying dishware and moving quickly to keep up with the dining room's flow.

This role also involves modest guest interaction, requiring a polished and courteous demeanor to enhance the guest experience. The Food Hall Busperson works closely in concert with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to promote efficient service and communication. Although this position does not carry supervisory responsibilities, it is vital in supporting the operational flow and guest service standards. The role requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, as it supports a high-volume, fast-paced environment typical of a luxury resort setting.

Additionally, the Food Hall Busperson must understand and adhere to company policies, departmental regulations, and menu knowledge, supporting the broader team with a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. This employment opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking to grow within the hospitality industry, who thrive in collaborative, energetic settings and who value a career in a leading Las Vegas resort and casino venue. Rio Las Vegas is committed to providing a safe, inclusive workplace with ample support for employee development and success, ensuring that every team member has the tools and environment to succeed in their role.
