Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • cast creative spells to fill rooms, pump up revenue, and celebrate team wins
  • assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • build budgets, forecast outcomes, and develop marketing campaigns
  • conduct sales calls, property tours, and client meetings
  • support the General Manager and collaborate across departments as an operations ambassador
  • negotiate, sell, and influence with strong communication skills
  • analyze market trends and apply strategic vision
