It is recognized for its strong emphasis on educational achievement, innovative teaching practices, and comprehensive support services for students and staff alike.
The Receptionist position at FISD is a pivotal role within the school’s administrative operations. Reporting directly to the Campus Principal, this full-time role covers approximately 187 workdays per year. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for anyone entering the school, greeting and directing visitors and handling the initial communication inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires multitasking capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a high level of confidentiality. The receptionist will also act as the primary phone operator for the school, managing a multi-line phone system and ensuring that calls are routed correctly to the appropriate personnel.
Key responsibilities include preparing written correspondence, managing visitor logs, supporting students, teachers, and parents, and operating various office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Having proficiency with computers and word processing software is essential for completing daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English to better serve the diverse community that Frisco ISD supports.
This position demands an individual capable of maintaining composure under stress, adept at performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and committed to upholding the high ethical standards and confidentiality required in an educational environment. Additionally, the receptionist is expected to foster a positive, welcoming environment that aligns with the District’s values of collaboration, respect, and student-centered productivity.
Frisco ISD offers a work environment that values employee well-being, supported by policies that encourage collaboration and continuous improvement. The receptionist will be an integral part of the administrative team, facilitating communication and contributing to the district's mission to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.
