Rooted firmly in the principles of dedicated service and united by a meaningful purpose, Aramark strives to make a positive impact not only for its employees but also for its partners, communities, and planet. The company is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace, ensuring equal employment opportunities without discrimination on any protected characteristic. This supportive and empowering environment encourages professional growth, talent development, and passion for the food service industry.

The Campus Executive Chef position at Aramark is a key leadership role within its culinary management team. As a Campus Executive Chef, you will oversee chef managers and hourly culinary staff, directing culinary operations focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This management role is mainly responsible for developing and implementing culinary solutions that cater to varied customer and client tastes. Your leadership ensures culinary production aligns strictly with execution standards while maintaining the highest food safety and quality protocols.

This position demands a seasoned culinary professional capable of managing end-to-end culinary functions including food preparation, presentation, and service. The Campus Executive Chef will be an influential team leader, monitoring production, coaching kitchen employees on best practices, and maintaining daily operational standards. This includes managing food and labor costs efficiently to meet budgetary targets, collaborating closely with suppliers, driving culinary trends awareness within the campus setting, and ensuring compliance with all policies and safety regulations.

Beyond the kitchen, this role fosters a strong client and guest relationship, actively engaging guests to ensure their needs are met and feedback is embraced. You will also continuously assess and improve culinary processes, maintain detailed operational records, and lead team meetings to communicate expectations and celebrate achievements. Aramark promotes continuous learning and professional development, encouraging the Campus Executive Chef to grow skills and adapt creatively to meet evolving demands.

A successful candidate for this role will bring at least eight years of culinary experience, including preferably five years in a management capacity, coupled with a culinary degree or the equivalent expertise. Proficiency in multitasking, simplifying complex agendas for team execution, and advanced knowledge of culinary practices is essential. Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and reading—are vital to effectively lead and document operations.

Working at Aramark means joining a purpose-driven company where career advancement, meaningful work, and a sense of community are priorities. The company supports employees through a range of benefits and a work culture aimed at maximizing every individual's potential. The Campus Executive Chef plays a pivotal role in achieving Aramark's mission by blending culinary expertise with inspirational leadership and operational excellence to deliver exceptional dining experiences across the campus environment.
