These essential team members are responsible for cleaning and maintaining cabins within the campground on a daily basis, ensuring that all facilities are spotless and inviting for both guests and staff. The Campground Cabin Cleaner role involves a variety of tasks geared toward maintaining cleanliness and order across guest rooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces. Employees will work with cleaning chemicals safely, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety data sheets (SDS). Daily duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replacing guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and emptying trash. Beyond the cabins themselves, cleaners are responsible for public spaces such as hallways, pool areas, stairways, and outdoor walkways, ensuring every corner of the campground meets Carowinds’ high standards. The role also includes operating the campground tram, adding an element of fun and responsibility to the position.

- Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- Good judgment and commitment to safety

- Availability including some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Willingness to support the needs of guests and associates
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals following safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups
- Commitment to safety and excellent judgment
- Availability to work some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Duties
- Work with chemicals safely using safety data sheets and personal protective equipment
- Clean and maintain all areas of guest rooms including making beds and cleaning bathrooms
- Remove dirty linen and replace used guest amenities
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and empty trash
- Complete daily guest-room task assignments and respond to guest requests
- Report maintenance issues and handle lost and found items
- Clean assigned public areas including hallways, pool area, stairways, public bathrooms, lobby, elevators, vending machines, and outdoor walkways
- Drive campground tram
