The bakery team member is responsible for ensuring cake variety and product availability, working closely with the Bakery Manager to manage inventory like the "Deco Pac" selection and to control shrinkage according to corporate policies. Operating bakery equipment such as ovens and mixers is a routine task, as is preparing special customer orders, including custom cake requests.

This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as interacting with customers and ensuring satisfaction is a critical component of the job. The individual will be expected to consistently smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling their requests, contributing to a warm and welcoming shopping experience. Additionally, the bakery team member must adhere strictly to all company policies, including those regarding sanitation and safety, and may be asked to take charge in the absence of the Bakery Manager or first clerk. This job is suited for individuals who are at least 18 years old with 6 to 12 months of related experience and basic computer and literacy skills.
