Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior cake decorating experience preferred
- ability to operate decorating tools safely
- good manual dexterity
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- food handling certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery work
- knowledge of cake decorating techniques and tools
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good eye for design and detail
- customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Cut, fill, and ice cakes
- decorate and write messages on cakes using pastry bags and tips
- package cakes for special orders
- package cakes for back stock
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- assist in inventory management of bakery supplies
