Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 5 years experience in baking and decorating Hispanic style cakes and pastries
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong manual dexterity and ability to use bakery equipment safely
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in baking and producing Hispanic bakery and pastry products preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
  • knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to safely operate bakery equipment
  • strong attention to detail and creativity in cake decoration
  • excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, produce, and decorate a variety of Hispanic style cakes and pastries
  • use bakery equipment such as cake mixers, spatulas, smoothers, airbrushes, etc
  • safely use and operate different bakery equipment
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery department
  • follow food safety regulations and guidelines
  • collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
  • assist customers with bakery product inquiries and sales
