Job Requirements
- Six months experience in fresh production area
- must be 18 years of age or older
- successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- capability to operate and maintain bakery equipment safely
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in a fresh production area
- cake decorating skills preferred
- ability to use decorating tools such as bags, tips, and nozzles
- understanding of bakery production processes
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- experience with inventory management and equipment sanitation
- proficiency using digital tools and handheld technology
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team
- commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- capability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service
- maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
- plan and execute bakery production ensuring quality and accurate decorative designs
- follow recipe measurements and use decorating tools such as bags, tips, and nozzles
- adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain compliance, and inventory management standards
- operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve the member experience
- make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality
- drive bakery area performance by managing waste and preparing for seasonal volume changes
- assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns
- model high-quality service and brand advocacy by interacting with associates and supporting a respectful, team-oriented work environment
- comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards
- complete work assignments using company policies, data, and resources
- embrace and promote a culture of belonging and diversity
- build strong, trusting relationships and communicate with positivity
