Job Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery setting advantageous but not required
Strong artistic ability and creativity
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail to ensure quality standards
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties

Decorate bakery items including bars, pies, cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, and cakes
Enhance visual appeal of bakery products to boost sales
Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and taking special orders
Stock and maintain fresh bakery displays
Ensure quality and freshness by removing substandard products
Collaborate with Cake Decorator II and bakery team to meet department goals
Maintain food safety logs and follow food safety guidelines
Attend work regularly and provide notice for absences
Perform other duties as assigned
