The position available is a part-time Deli / Bakery Associate role with shifts available primarily during opening and morning hours. The main responsibility of the Deli / Bakery Associate is to prepare quality products promptly for customers while maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to proper food safety regulations. This role involves engaging directly with customers at the service counter to provide exceptional service, addressing questions or special requests professionally. Associates are also tasked with moving incoming merchandise from the backstock to the salesfloor efficiently to ensure well-stocked shelves and an appealing shopping environment. In this role, attention to detail is critical, as associates must maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene standards rigorously to support the health and safety of customers and staff alike. Walmart offers an hourly wage between $17 and $30, depending on experience and job location, with additional performance-based incentives on annual or quarterly cycles.
