Job Description

The Cake & Pastry Associate role at Stoltzfus Meats centers on preparing, decorating, and finishing cakes, pastries, and specialty bakery items for retail display. This position demands an eye for detail, artistic skill, and dedication to maintaining the quality and presentation standards that Stoltzfus Meats is known for. The associate will assist in daily bakery production, support the Bakery Manager, and ensure that bakery products are consistently fresh, attractively presented, and properly labeled. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work areas, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and occasionally assisting customers in selecting bakery items. Candidates must be dependable, team-oriented individuals willing to learn and adhere to Stoltzfus Meats’ bakery processes. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Assist with daily bakery production and preparation
  • maintain clean, organized decorating and preparation areas
  • label products accurately and maintain proper product rotation
  • stock and maintain bakery displays
  • follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • assist customers with bakery selections when needed
  • support the Bakery Manager with production and special orders
