The role of Food Stand Cashier with Sodexo at Illinois State University is a dynamic full-time position offering an hourly wage range of $15.00 to $17.00. The Food Stand Cashier is responsible for providing efficient, accurate transaction support while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements to sell alcohol according to state and local regulations
  • Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper handling and security of cash, payment devices, and transaction systems as applicable
  • Assist in stocking, restocking, and rotating products within food stand areas as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cash registers, kiosks, and autonomous retail areas
  • Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
  • Attend work and arrive on time for scheduled shifts with regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned that may vary between accounts based on business needs and client requirements
