Job Requirements

  • Three to five years experience in casino cage operations
  • Four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations and obtain a license if required
  • Ability to handle irregular work schedule and meet deadlines
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Ability to perform duties under time pressures in an interruptive environment

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years experience in casino cage operations in a casino environment including slot/VLT machines, table games, and poker tables
  • Four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws, and regulations
  • Effective leadership and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise cage personnel on assigned shift to ensure accurate control over casino funds
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
  • Manage processes and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment
  • Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
  • Develop staff including training, interviewing for hires, performance management, disciplinary counseling, and conducting performance evaluation
  • Manage department financial data
