Job Requirements
- Three to five years experience in casino cage operations
- Four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations and obtain a license if required
- Ability to handle irregular work schedule and meet deadlines
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Ability to perform duties under time pressures in an interruptive environment
Job Qualifications
- Three to five years experience in casino cage operations in a casino environment including slot/VLT machines, table games, and poker tables
- Four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws, and regulations
- Effective leadership and team management skills
Job Duties
- Supervise cage personnel on assigned shift to ensure accurate control over casino funds
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
- Manage processes and procedures to control and reduce loss time injuries
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
- Develop staff including training, interviewing for hires, performance management, disciplinary counseling, and conducting performance evaluation
- Manage department financial data
