Beyond nutrition, the department plays a vital role in fostering a supportive and safe environment within schools, aligning with the district’s overall educational mission and commitment to inclusivity and equality. The Cafeteria Worker position is a non-exempt, auxiliary role within the Child Nutrition Services department, accountable to the Cafeteria Manager. This job focuses on preparing and serving meals that adhere to standardized recipes while maintaining accurate production records. This position promotes a tobacco-free workplace and values emotional resilience when facing challenges common in busy school cafeterias.
