Furthermore, the Cafeteria Monitor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant national, state, Sodexo, and school district policies, as well as health department regulations. This ensures that food service operations meet the highest standards for safety and quality. In some cases, the monitor may also take on additional food service-related tasks as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the smooth operation of the cafeteria.

The employment terms include a 173-day work calendar aligned with school days, with hours varying by site, and the position is classified as non-exempt support staff.
