Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
one-year experience working in food service field
valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
ability to follow strict cleaning documentation and report safety issues
capability to perform dishwasher operations and general cleaning
ability to work weekends and holidays
physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
knowledge of food service sanitation standards
commitment to maintain a harassment-free environment

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
one-year experience working in food service field
valid ServSafe Food Handler certification
culinary arts training preferred
two years food service experience preferred

Job Duties

follow strict documentation requirements for cleaning schedule noting time task completed and observed safety or maintenance issues
document and report discrepancies to supervisor
support and maintain a safe congenial teamwork environment
establish and maintain highest level of food service area sanitation including all food preparation and consumption areas dish washing and dish storage areas rest rooms and break areas
maintain order in cafeteria removing dishes wiping tables positioning chairs and removing floor debris
dishwasher operations and general cleaning and sanitation
assist as required in light food preparation stocking supplies and deliveries
promote a harassment-free environment
model positive behavior and a high level of conflict resolution skills at all times
participate in department meetings and all mandated training
utilize information systems and handle student data in strict adherence to Job Corps and Strategix policies to protect personally identifiable information PII and reduce network security threats
adhere to and model Strategix servant leadership culture values
