Job Requirements

Must have current Washington State Food Handler's permit
high school diploma or GED certification preferred
able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
able to work on weekends and holidays
able to meet the professional appearance standards of the organization
one to two years of food service experience preferred
prior experience working as a barista preferred
one year of experience in cash handling including tending cash and balancing cash drawer preferred

demonstrates ability to work independently
able to communicate and work effectively with the physical and emotional developments of all age groups
demonstrates experience in providing excellent customer service
demonstrates basic knowledge of working a computer for online training and other purposes

Job Duties

Interact with customers to obtain food orders
serve foods to customers
produce quality beverages such as coffee, lattes, cappuccino, and other espresso-based drinks
replenish supplies and foods at serving stations
use cash registers or calculators to prepare bill totals, accept payment and make correct change
maintain a safe and sanitary work environment according to department standards
participate actively in the training of new team members and ongoing department in-servicing and education
