The position is designated as per diem with night shift hours, classified as an OC/PD employment type, and offers an hourly salary ranging from $22.65 to $34.86 dependent on experience. The cafe worker role primarily focuses on delivering high levels of guest satisfaction in a retail food service environment. In this capacity, the cafe worker interacts professionally with customers to take orders, prepares and serves a variety of food items and beverages, including specialty drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, handles cash payments accurately, and ensures cleanliness and proper stocking of food stations. The role demands excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, often requiring quick multitasking and problem-solving skills. Job Requirements

  • Must have current Washington State Food Handler's permit
  • high school diploma or GED certification preferred
  • able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • able to work on weekends and holidays
  • able to meet the professional appearance standards of the organization
  • one to two years of food service experience preferred
  • prior experience working as a Barista preferred
  • one year of experience in cash handling to include tending cash and balancing cash drawer preferred

Job Duties

  • Interact with customers to obtain food orders
