Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or café role
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to improve sales and reduce waste
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in barista skills and café operations
Job Duties
- Lead and mentor the café team to develop their skills and knowledge
- Analyze sales data, inventory, and waste reports to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement café action plans
- Maintain high standards in drink making, food and beverage presentation, and merchandising
- Operate registers efficiently and train team members on speed of service
- Support the bookstore team with bookselling duties when available
- Enforce loss prevention measures and maintain a safe environment
- Manage inventory orders and submit accurate inventory and waste logs on time
