Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in café or food service preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Willingness to support multiple store locations if needed
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or retail leadership roles
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation
- Strong communication and team coaching skills
- Ability to analyze sales and inventory data
- Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to work
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Lead the café team by example and develop their knowledge and skills
- Use data to influence sales, inventory, waste management, and profitability
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement café action plans
- Monitor and maintain food and beverage presentation standards
- Manage inventory and submit accurate monthly inventory and waste reports
- Maintain a safe and secure bookstore by enforcing loss prevention procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and support the bookfloor team when needed
