Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a barista with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity preferred
  • strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and café operations
  • exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
  • organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
  • availability to work early morning shifts plus weekends and holidays as needed
  • manual dexterity required
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • regular physical activity including walking standing sitting and lifting
  • this will be a permanent full time position

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of daily café operations including opening and closing procedures food and beverage preparation and maintaining a clean welcoming environment
  • craft a range of high-quality specialty coffee drinks and light food offerings with consistency and efficiency
  • maintain accurate inventory levels place regular supply orders and ensure proper stock rotation and waste reduction
  • manage scheduling and daily coordination for yourself and one additional team member always ensuring coverage and high service standards
  • provide courteous professional service to all guests creating positive and efficient customer experience aligned with the hotel's brand
  • operate the point-of-sale system manage cash and credit transactions and complete end-of-day reconciliation
  • ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations maintaining sanitation standards and food handling procedures
  • communicate regularly with hotel leadership to ensure alignment with guest service expectations and operational goals
