Originating from a converted gas station on Hope Street in Providence's East Side, the bakery was founded out of a deep passion for traditional artisan bread and pastry baking as well as a strong commitment to fostering meaningful community connections. The founders aimed to create high-quality baked goods using the finest ingredients and craftsmanship and to welcome every customer as a guest in their own home. Over the years, Seven Stars Bakery has grown into a neighborhood staple with several unique cafe locations, each radiating warmth and a true sense of community. The role of the Cafe Store Manager at Seven Stars Bakery is critical for ensuring the efficient daily operations and commercial success of the cafe. This full-time position involves comprehensive management responsibilities, such as supervising daily activities, leading and developing the staff, and upholding superior customer service standards. The Cafe Store Manager will design and execute strategies to boost the cafe's performance by managing finances, forecasting sales, and maintaining inventory control. Moreover, this role fosters a positive workplace culture that drives employee motivation and retention, essential for delivering a consistent and welcoming atmosphere to customers. The manager also handles compliance with health and safety protocols and implements marketing efforts to attract and retain clientele. Shift hours range from 5:30am to 7pm, including a variety of mids, opens, and closes, working around 40 to 50 hours weekly with shifts lasting 8 to 10 hours. The manager must be available to work weekends and holidays.

This position requires a strong background in food and beverage management, financial acumen, superior interpersonal abilities, and leadership skills to cultivate a united, efficient team.
