Job Description

The Front is a vibrant and community-centered climbing gym that has established itself as a hub for fitness, movement, and social connection in the South Main and Salt Lake City areas. Known for its innovative approach to combining climbing, fitness, and food service, The Front offers a unique experience that goes beyond a traditional gym setting. This establishment values creating welcoming and inclusive spaces where individuals of all skill levels can gather to challenge themselves physically while fostering meaningful relationships. The Front's facilities integrate everything needed for active lifestyles, including expert climbing walls, fitness equipment, and a full-service cafe9 that plays an essential role in its community experience.

The cafe9 at The Front is not just an amenity; it is a core part of the overall atmosphere and vitality of the climbing gym. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and hospitality services. As a Full-Time Cafe9 Staff member, you will help fuel the community by providing high-quality service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Your responsibilities will include balancing front-of-house hospitality duties like welcoming and engaging with guests, alongside back-of-house tasks such as food preparation and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The position requires a dedication to food quality, safety standards, and outstanding guest experiences.

The Front provides competitive pay ranging from $19 to $21 per hour, reflecting the value it places on its team members' skills and commitment. This is a full-time position available at the South Main and Salt Lake City Front locations, perfect for individuals who thrive in energetic environments and enjoy working with diverse groups of people. If you are passionate about great coffee, quality food, and creating positive, memorable guest experiences, this role offers a fulfilling chance to be part of something special. Beyond just serving food and drinks, you will be contributing to a community-focused space that inspires growth, movement, and connection for all its members.
