Job Requirements
- minimum two years experience in a kitchen environment
- strong customer service skills
- strong verbal communication skills
- knowledge of preparation and production of entrees, soups, and salads in banquet settings
- ability to prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- ability to understand and follow recipes
- customer interaction skills
- prior kitchen experience of 2-3 years
- prior experience in banquet service preferred
- flexibility to work different stations
- quick learning agility

Job Duties
- prepare food for all stations including specials and other designated food areas
- ensure sanitation and food safety in designated stations
- track cycle menus and temperature control logs
- assist cafe management with food production and catering projects
- lead kitchen team in the absence of the chef
- maintain food quality and integrity to build customer confidence
- control kitchen costs and maximize revenue
