Boulder Country Club is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the role of Cafe Server and Bartender at The Press Cafe for the summer season. This part-time, seasonal position offers a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fun atmosphere while interacting with club members and guests. The Press Cafe is an integral part of the club, providing full-service food and beverage options to members in a relaxed yet refined setting.

As a Cafe Server and Bartender, the candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding service that enhances the member experience. This includes serving food and beverages, replenishing items in the Ladies Card Room, assisting the full-time team with the Men's Card Room, and building positive relationships with the members. The role requires a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn new skills and adaptable to the evolving needs of the club. With an hourly wage of $20 to $23, this position is ideal for those looking to gain valuable hospitality experience in a friendly work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Communicates easily with members building positive relationships through excellent customer service
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the food menu including allergen options for guests with dietary restrictions
  • Provide excellent service by greeting members and guests by name
  • Follow and complete opening and closing checklists for assigned areas including daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • Consistently comply with state, local, and club laws and policies relating to the service of alcohol
  • Set up and prepare for bar and barista services
  • Service the Cafe patio area for members' food and drink needs
  • Stock and maintain the grab-and-go area before, during, and after service
  • Clear, reset tables, and maintain floors on the Cafe patio
  • Willingness to learn and take direction

  • Available to work at least 5 shifts a week including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of liquors, beer, wine, and craft coffee drinks
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Experience creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere
  • Familiarity with safe and sanitary food handling and preparation
  • Ability to use or learn to use POS systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide full service for members with food and beverage needs
  • Service members and replenish items in the Ladies Card Room
