Job Requirements

  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner
  • Integrity, honesty and truthfulness
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 40 lbs through a crowded patio
  • Exceptional grooming standards consistent with company guidelines
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to obtain a Riverside County food handler’s card
  • Ability to obtain an ABC Responsible Beverage Service Certificate

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and respond to guest requests promptly
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items to inform guests and make suggestions accordingly
  • Take and process orders in Micros with detailed information and special preparations
  • Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Pre-bus tables throughout each course to provide proper service requirements
  • Maintain an organized work environment and overall cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Process payments accurately in micros and follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Thank guests for dining with us and invite departing guests to return again
  • Be willing to support fellow servers, runners, buses and hosts in a team environment
  • Complete closing side work in preparation for the next business day
  • Follow all Restaurant standards of service to achieve consistent customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a safe work area and ensure the safety of guests and associates
  • Execute any tasks as requested by management
  • Understand and adhere to the Ponte values and service standards
  • Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery
