The Coffee Shop Manager role at the Thompson Center is a pivotal position within this new facility. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the lobby café, which will provide a variety of coffee and specialty drink options alongside pre-packaged food items. Job Duties
- Manage day to day café operations to ensure accurate, timely, and friendly order fulfillment
- Oversee bulk ordering, inventory tracking, and purchasing of café supplies
- Train, supervise, and support café staff, promoting a positive team oriented work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Monitor scheduling, workflow, and staffing needs to maintain smooth operations
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Support ongoing staff development, including coaching and mentoring team members
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the café environment
