The Rock Cafe is a vibrant establishment within the Del Webb Rockin' K community, and as the Cafe Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching and cultivating a welcoming culture that emphasizes exceptional service, quality, and community engagement. You will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day functions of the cafe, including front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) management, staff training and team motivation, inventory and ordering control, as well as guest relations and communication. Your background in food and beverage service, particularly with bartending and team leadership, will be critical as you strive to create not only delicious food and craft beverages but also memorable moments for guests.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a full-service cafe or restaurant manager or equivalent role
- certified food manager
- certified alcoholic beverage manager
- strong bartending knowledge
- experience managing FOH and BOH operations
- financial management experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and stay organized
- physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- availability to work weekends
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee all cafe operations including FOH and BOH management
- hire, train, and motivate a high performing team
- maintain exceptional food, beverage, and service standards

- handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and care
- manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- monitor and control operating costs including labor and food expenses
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
- schedule and manage staff shifts and payroll
- maintain accurate financial records and reports including P&L management
- support ownership in achieving sales and profitability goals
- oversee cafe promotions and assist with community engagement efforts
- lead by example with a hands-on approach across all areas of operation
