Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- Minimum of two years previous food and beverage experience
- 1-3 years management experience in hospitality preferred
- Must have or be willing to attain ServSafe or equivalent Food Handling Certification within first 30 days
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
- Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged
- Maintain effective inventory control, storage, and rotation to minimize wastage
- Manage the Urban Café Team ensuring they always work to the expected standards
- Adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond when business dictates
- Train the team in menu preparation and front of house staff in drinks and ready-to-eat foods
- Establish and maintain high standards for punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
- Maintain a clear, organized, and easy-to-access Urban Café
- Handle guest concerns pertaining to the Urban Café
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
