Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of caf management experience Starbucks specialty coffee hotel caf or equivalent preferred
  • barista certification or equivalent hands-on espresso training required
  • strong passion for Mexican culinary culture and panadera
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills bilingual English Spanish preferred
  • capability to manage and minimize product waste and maintain par levels
  • proficiency with POS and inventory management systems like Extra Chef and Toast POS
  • availability for early mornings weekends and holidays
  • ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Two plus years of caf management experience Starbucks specialty coffee hotel caf or equivalent strongly preferred
  • barista certification or equivalent hands-on espresso training you know your machine your grind your extraction and your milk
  • demonstrated ability to build and execute a barista training program from scratch
  • genuine passion for Mexican food culture panadera and the culinary story Dulce Aroma is telling
  • experience managing product freshness waste and par levels in a high-volume caf environment
  • strong people skills you coach you develop you hold accountable and you do all three with warmth
  • bilingual English Spanish strongly preferred team and guest interactions frequently occur in both languages
  • familiarity with Toast POS or equivalent caf POS systems
  • ability to work early mornings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Open and close Dulce Aroma with precision every station stocked every machine calibrated every display case beautiful before the first guest arrives
  • maintain espresso equipment to manufacturer standards daily cleaning calibration and preventative maintenance protocols
  • manage churros production timing and freshness windows zero stale product on the counter ever
  • ensure the Mexican bakery display is fully stocked properly labeled and visually compelling at all times
  • oversee breakfast taco production in coordination with the kitchen proper holding temps salsa pairings and timely execution
  • execute all aguas frescas and signature drink recipes to spec consistent flavor consistent presentation every shift
  • build and execute a comprehensive barista training program Starbucks-caliber in structure Mexico Ceaty in identity
  • certify every barista on the full espresso program before they serve a single guest independently
  • train the team on menu storytelling every item has a name an origin and a reason to be here
  • conduct daily pre-shift meetings product knowledge specials goals energy
  • identify high-potential baristas and develop them toward leadership roles
  • coach in real time document performance and hold the team accountable to the standard you set
  • manage Dulce Aroma P&L food cost beverage cost waste and labor targets
  • maintain accurate par levels for all bakery beverage and supply items using Extra Chef for ordering and invoice reconciliation
  • monitor product sell-through and adjust bake production quantities to minimize waste and maximize freshness
  • report weekly on sales performance top-selling items and opportunities for menu or operations improvement
  • set and enforce a guest interaction standard that feels warm knowledgeable and genuinely Mexican not scripted
  • build a regular customer culture guests should feel recognized and welcomed every time they return
  • handle guest feedback and complaints on the spot with ownership and grace
  • coordinate with Mexico Ceatys marketing team on seasonal promotions new menu launches and social media content featuring Dulce Aroma
