Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the café for prolonged periods
ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service preferred
Knowledge of basic food preparation and safety
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills
ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

Prepare menu items following recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality
Adhere to daily needs including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety
Maintain cleanliness of LifeCafe and kitchen area including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes
Manage food production flow in conjunction with sandwich and salad stations
Follow food safety guidelines rigorously
Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely production of meals
Uphold standards of hygiene and sanitation in food preparation areas
