Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • some college preferred
  • six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience in quick service or restaurant environments
  • one year of leadership experience preferred
  • current ServSafe or equivalent food handling certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Job Duties

  • Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
  • ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged in the event the Café Manager is not present
  • maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
  • manage the Café Team ensuring they always work to the expected standards
  • adhere to scheduled shifts and willing to stay beyond when business dictates
  • train Café Team in preparing the full menu and front of house staff in preparing drinks and ready-to-eat foods to high standards
  • set a high standard and good example for punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
  • maintain well-organized and easy-to-access kitchen and storage areas
  • handle guest concerns during manager’s absence
  • participate in regular staff meetings and training
