Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- some college preferred
- six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience in quick service or restaurant environments
- one year of leadership experience preferred
- current ServSafe or equivalent food handling certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
- ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged in the event the Café Manager is not present
- maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
- manage the Café Team ensuring they always work to the expected standards
- adhere to scheduled shifts and willing to stay beyond when business dictates
- train Café Team in preparing the full menu and front of house staff in preparing drinks and ready-to-eat foods to high standards
- set a high standard and good example for punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
- maintain well-organized and easy-to-access kitchen and storage areas
- handle guest concerns during manager’s absence
- participate in regular staff meetings and training
