Job Requirements

High quality food experience
strong customer service skills
ability to communicate clearly
reliable and courteous in guest service
experience with point-of-sale systems
availability to work weekdays 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
ability to work standing for long periods
physical ability to bend, stoop, push, and lift up to 50 pounds
manual dexterity to operate equipment and handle orders

Job Qualifications

High quality food experience
strong customer service background with a positive and personable demeanor
clear communication skills
demonstrated excellence in guest service
experience with point-of-sale systems
previous catering and events experience is a plus
general knowledge of common computer software and web browsers

Job Duties

Take food orders from customers and enter them in the point-of-sale system
handle credit card payments accurately
prepare coffee-based beverages and serve ready food items
clean and maintain the work station, display cases, and equipment
maintain cleanliness and re-stock supplies in the dining room
follow established cafe guidelines for guest services, food safety, maintenance, and equipment cleaning
communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining personnel and guests
