The Restaurant Cook plays a vital role in this dynamic environment, working alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced setting. This position is central to ensuring that the members of Life Time receive industry-leading healthy food options prepared with consistency, freshness, and adherence to strict food safety guidelines. The individual in this role is responsible for producing menu items according to detailed recipes, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area, and managing workflow in coordination with other food station operators. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about nutrition, culinary arts, and providing outstanding customer service within a supportive team environment. The Restaurant Cook position requires dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality while keeping pace with a busy kitchen.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience preferred
  • Experience prepping recipes preferred

Job Duties

  • Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro including stocking supplies maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safety of kitchen
  • Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness including sweeping mopping cleaning kitchen equipment and washing dishes
  • Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
  • Follows recipes to ensure consistency freshness and quality of ingredients while preparing food
