Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior cashier experience preferred
Strong verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive movements
Ability to work under supervision using defined policies
No travel required

Job Duties

Accepts money and makes change for items purchased
Identifies menu items and prices for all food and beverages sold
Balances cash registers at end of each shift and ensure there is adequate change for the next day
Completes paperwork for the cafeteria manager's daily deposit
Ensures a clean and presentable cafeteria environment
Stocks condiments such as sugar, salt, straws and silverware
Stocks bottled beverage in coolers
Cleans and lightly buses all tables in the cafeteria
Takes out trash, sweeps, and mops front of house
Cleans coffee and soda machines
Performs all other duties as assigned
