We are currently seeking a self-motivated, knowledgeable, and passionate individual to join our team as the Back of House (BOH) Lead in our Cafe. This full-time leadership role offers a starting pay range of $22.50 to $24.94 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading the prepared foods team, working closely alongside the Assistant Deli Prepared Foods Manager BOH. Your responsibilities will include overseeing production, assisting with training and packaging, and ensuring that all back of house staff effectively prioritize their tasks to meet production goals during store hours. This role requires a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and who is committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience through teamwork, quality, and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year supervisory and leadership experience in a production kitchen environment
  • At least 3 years commercial kitchen experience
  • Ability to work flexible full-time shifts including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliable and positive attitude
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team setting

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year supervisory and leadership experience in a production kitchen environment
  • At least 3 years commercial kitchen experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Passion for food and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership to the prepared foods team in the absence of the Assistant Deli Prepared Foods Manager BOH
  • Assist with production, training, and packaging during store hours
  • Ensure back of house staff prioritize work correctly to complete production lists
  • Support a collaborative and positive team environment
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to operational challenges
