Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience as a barista in the care/usage of a cash register and cash handling is preferred
- mathematical skills are essential
- prior experience in retail or institutional food services is preferred
- must be able to interpret and apply simple instructions
- communication requirements include the ability to comprehend the spoken English language in addition to being able to communicate and read the English language
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- operating Point of Sale system and cash handling, including daily deposits
- prepared, ground, and blended coffee beans, brewed coffee and tea, and served items to customers
- packaging food and beverages for sale
- selling coffee, tea blends, and other goods, highlighting the differences between items, and educating customers about menu items
- cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
