The role of the Caesars Sportsbook Bar Porter is a vital position within this dynamic organization. The Bar Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the sportsbook bar. This includes managing stock levels, removing waste, and executing general cleaning duties to ensure the bar area is always guest-ready. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong guest service mentality, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Bar Porters are also expected to step in as Bartenders when the business demand requires, making this a versatile and essential role.

Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of beverage ingredients and bar operations. They must be proficient in ringing up products accurately using point-of-sale systems such as Micros, and possess or obtain essential certifications including a standard Mixology certification and Responsible Vendor Server Certification. The role demands excellent communication skills and a professional appearance, consistent with Caesars' standards. Bar Porters must be able to perform all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned by management while promoting outstanding guest relations at all times.

Additionally, the position involves physical demands including lifting and carrying goods, operating carts and dollies, using step ladders safely, kneeling, working in walk-in coolers or freezers, and standing for extended periods on various surfaces. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess or be able to obtain a valid Bossier ABO card. Flexibility to work varying schedules and additional hours when requested is essential to meet the business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED
  • must possess or be able to obtain a valid Bossier ABO card
  • must possess or be able to attain a valid Responsible Vendor Server Certification
  • must present a well-groomed appearance
  • grasp lift or move goods weighing up to 200 pounds
  • place items in overhead coolers weighing more than 15 pounds
  • use step ladders or stools safely
  • kneel down for cleaning and stocking
  • work in walk-in cooler or freezer for 20 minutes or longer
  • ability to work in smoking and non-smoking environments for 8 hours or more
  • ability to stand and walk on various surfaces for over 8 hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar areas
  • remove waste and perform general cleaning duties
