Job Description
Quantem Aviation Services is a premier aircraft handling provider located at BWI Airport, specializing in a variety of services including cargo warehousing, mail handling, ramp handling, terminal services, as well as ground support equipment fuel supply and maintenance. The company prides itself on delivering top-notch support to airline partners and ensuring smooth and efficient aircraft turnaround operations. With a strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and employee development, Quantem Aviation Services offers a dynamic workplace tailored to those who thrive in fast-paced and detail-oriented environments.
The Cabin Cleaner position at Quantem Aviation Services plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness for aircraft operating at BWI Airport. This role requires dependable individuals with reliable transportation due to varying shift hours that correspond with airline arrival and departure schedules, often beyond regular public transportation hours. Shift times primarily include evenings (PM), with some morning (AM) shifts and mandatory weekend and holiday work.
As a Cabin Cleaner, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors and ensuring that all galley areas are properly stocked according to the specifications for each flight. This includes managing passenger compartments and crew areas to create a safe and welcoming environment for travelers. The position involves supervising a crew and acting as a liaison between employees and supervisors to address operational or service issues efficiently. You will handle multiple cleaning duties such as sanitizing seats, floors, pantries, lavatories, and more. Additionally, you will be tasked with tidying up company vehicles and employee common areas.
The ideal candidate will be someone with prior custodial or cleaning experience, capable of maintaining confidentiality, and able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Physical endurance is necessary as the role involves extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, along with climbing jetway stairs up to 15 feet high.
Quantem Aviation Services offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 and provides a range of benefits to eligible employees, including health, dental, and life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, flexible scheduling options, advancement opportunities, and continuous on-the-job training. Additional perks include employee discounts, an employee assistance program, unlimited $300 referral bonuses, and access to DailyPay for flexible wage access.
This position is ideal for highly motivated individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a team dynamic, and are committed to maintaining clean and safe aircraft environments that meet the airline industry’s stringent standards. If you are reliable, physically fit, and ready to join a respected aviation services company, this role offers a rewarding opportunity within a growing and supportive team.
