Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant butler or luxury household experience
  • Proven ability to provide discreet and polished service
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain personal vehicle
  • Ability to manage household inventory and oversee maintenance
  • Physical capability to handle household tasks and errands
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior butler or high-end service experience
  • Experience in private homes, hospitality, or yacht service preferred
  • Ability to cook considered a significant plus
  • Gracious, poised, and discreet demeanor
  • Meticulously organized and flexible
  • Knowledge of care for fine materials and luxury household items
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong references

Job Duties

  • Inventory and care of fine china, crystal, silver, artwork, and antiques
  • Polishing, seasonal decor setup, and organization of storage and basement areas
  • Oversight of repairs and maintenance needs in conjunction with the Property Manager
  • Recycling, trash removal, and general estate readiness
  • Wind clocks, monitor remotes/batteries, and check security of premises nightly
  • Formal and informal table setting, serving, and clearing
  • Bartending and light meal coordination
  • Greet and announce guests, and orient overnight visitors to home amenities
  • Coordinate with Housekeepers and support all events, from intimate dinners to larger gatherings
  • Shoe care, wardrobe organization, and seasonal closet transitions
  • Assist in linen care, dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up, and daily wardrobe readiness
  • Drive the principal as needed
  • Run errands including groceries, dry cleaning, floral arrangements, and mail
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
