The Butler position within Caesars New Orleans represents a prestigious role dedicated to providing dignitary and VIP guests with the highest level of personal service. As a Butler, you will be instrumental in enhancing guests' experiences by attending to their every need with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. The role encompasses a variety of duties such as greeting guests warmly, serving meals and beverages, performing concierge services, assisting with wardrobe care, and arranging personal services like haircuts and massages. This position demands a poised, well-groomed individual capable of maintaining composure under all conditions while delivering exceptional hospitality.
Butlers at Caesars New Orleans must remain immediately available during their assigned shifts to anticipate and fulfill guest requests promptly. The role requires excellent communication skills and teamwork, as well as proficiency with basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Physical capabilities include the ability to lift serving trays up to 25 lbs, move quickly throughout hotel and restaurant areas, and handle the demands of a dynamic and sometimes noisy environment. Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in hospitality services such as butler/valet or equivalent
- Literate and fluent in English
- Previous customer service experience required, with emphasis in hospitality industry preferred
- Must possess excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team
- PC literate with minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
- Must present a well-groomed appearance
- Able to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to maintain composure under all situations, including handling abusive guests, in a positive manner
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in hospitality services such as butler/valet or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required, with an emphasis in the hospitality industry preferred
- Must possess excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Literate and fluent in English, ability to read, write and speak English
- PC literate with a minimum working knowledge of Microsoft’s Word and Excel
Job Duties
- Greets all dignitary guests and makes them feel welcome by seeing to their needs
- Serves meals, tea, hor d’ouvres, cocktails and other food and beverage to Hotel guest rooms
- Performs concierge duties
- Assists dignitary guests in unpacking, packing and the selection, care and maintenance of their wardrobe
- Coordinates appropriate wardrobe needs i.e., pressing, dry cleaning, and polishing shoes
- Arranges for personal services such as haircutting and styling, manicures, massages, etc.
- Remains immediately available during assigned shift to respond to guests’ needs and expectations
