Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in meat, poultry, or seafood handling
- leadership experience in a retail food environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage staff and schedules
- physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- ability to operate cutting and cooking equipment
- knowledge of inventory and ordering systems
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- good attendance record

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Champion company and division customer service programs
- handle customer relations and complaints
- order, receive, and break downloads of meat, poultry, and seafood products
- stock, display, and rotate products
- process fresh fish and seafood items
- prepare seafood salads and samples
- supervise, motivate, and train butcher block personnel
- schedule staff to ensure coverage and meet budget goals
- conduct daily inspections of the butcher block
- ensure compliance with quality, trimming, grinding, and sanitation standards
- assist with receiving, storing, cleaning, cutting, wrapping, and packaging
- implement promotional and seasonal displays
- control shrink and expenses
- complete and monitor daily logs and reports
- order and control inventory to maintain quality and freshness
- take periodic inventories and maintain department records
- ensure compliance with merchandising and labeling laws
- assist customers with special orders and suggestive selling
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- respond appropriately to calls
- maintain and clean equipment
- assist with emergency procedures
- train associates in work duties
- monitor performance and report to management
- maintain confidentiality
- perform duties safely and with integrity
- perform other necessary duties
