Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of related work experience
- California Food Handler's Certification
- Ability to stand and walk during entire shifts
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing 20-50 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED)
- Two years of prior experience in a related hospitality position
- Experience in a resort hotel setting preferred
- California Food Handler's Certification required
- First Aid, CPR, and defibrillator certifications preferred
- Strong commitment to quality and exceptional customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet appearance standards
Job Duties
- Provide attentive, friendly, and professional guest service
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness according to health and safety standards
- Assist in banquet set-up, tear down, and service as directed
- Uphold personal grooming and uniform standards
- Maintain knowledge of menus, restaurant organization, and job functions
- Demonstrate adherence to hotel safety and security procedures
- Report unusual occurrences to management
