Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of related work experience
  • California Food Handler's Certification
  • Ability to stand and walk during entire shifts
  • Capability to lift and move objects weighing 20-50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Compliance with uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED)
  • Two years of prior experience in a related hospitality position
  • Experience in a resort hotel setting preferred
  • California Food Handler's Certification required
  • First Aid, CPR, and defibrillator certifications preferred
  • Strong commitment to quality and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet appearance standards

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional guest service
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness
  • Assist with basic food preparation
  • Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness according to health and safety standards
  • Assist in banquet set-up, tear down, and service as directed
  • Uphold personal grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain knowledge of menus, restaurant organization, and job functions
  • Demonstrate adherence to hotel safety and security procedures
  • Report unusual occurrences to management
