The Server Assistant position at Ocean Prime plays a pivotal role in enhancing the dining experience by supporting servers, hosts, and management to ensure guests receive attentive and seamless service. The primary responsibility is to assist these team members by maintaining cleanliness, efficiently handling guest requests, and contributing to a positive work environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry moderate loads
  • Adherence to dress code and hygiene standards
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule
  • Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned
  • Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts

  • Answers guest's questions about the restaurant
  • Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority
  • Cooperates with management and co-workers to assist others with duties, if needed
  • Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion
  • Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly
  • Knows emergency procedures in the restaurants
  • Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook
