The company places a strong emphasis on community engagement and fostering a sense of belonging among both customers and employees. This commitment to genuine hospitality and culinary excellence is what distinguishes Red Lobster within the restaurant industry.
As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest's experience is pleasant from the moment they walk in until the end of their meal. This position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, and value the importance of maintaining a clean and organized dining space. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of the service staff and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. You will be responsible for welcoming guests with a friendly smile, maintaining clean table settings, and supporting the servers by refilling drinks and pre-bussing tables. Additionally, you will assist by running food to tables promptly and ensuring that all food safety and cleanliness standards are followed meticulously.
This role offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling options, making it an ideal position for those seeking balance between work and personal commitments. Employees at Red Lobster also benefit from access to affordable medical, dental, and vision plans starting at under ten dollars per week, alongside life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and voluntary benefits tailored to meet individual needs. Red Lobster values long-term employee growth by providing a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match after one year of service and offering anniversary pay opportunities based on eligibility. To enhance employee engagement, discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest are provided. Training and development programs are available to support career advancement and skill-building within the company.
Working as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster requires physical endurance and focus, including the ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and move efficiently throughout the restaurant environment. Teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential skills for succeeding in this role. Red Lobster is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace, encouraging applications from diverse backgrounds without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
